Our Story
Born from late-night outages and the frustration of learning about downtime from angry customers — not from our tools.
Your checkout page goes down at 2 AM. Your API starts timing out during a product launch. An SSL certificate expires on a Friday evening. By the time a customer tweets about it, you've already lost revenue — and trust.
We've been there. We know the sinking feeling. So we decided to build something better.
Media Luna watches your entire infrastructure around the clock — from edge probes deployed across the globe. Every check is verified from multiple regions before we alert you, eliminating the false positives that erode trust in monitoring tools.
A monitoring tool is only as good as its ability to reach you. We deliver alerts through the channels your team already lives in — within seconds, not minutes.
We believe every developer and team deserves reliable uptime monitoring — regardless of budget. Our free plan isn't a trial. It's the full product. No credit card, no expiration, no gotcha.
When you're ready for more monitors, faster intervals, or additional team members — our paid plans are here. But you'll never be pressured into them.

What we stand for
We publish our own uptime status page. No dark patterns, no hidden limits, no surprise charges. We eat our own cooking — and we're comfortable with you watching.
We monitor our own infrastructure the same way we monitor yours. Redundant checks, multi-region confirmation, and zero tolerance for false positives that erode trust.
API-first design from day one. Every feature is available via REST API. Documentation that respects your time. Terraform support is on the roadmap.
Your monitoring data is yours. We never sell it, never share it, and never use it for advertising. GDPR-compliant with a full DPA available.
Who we are
Media Luna is built by engineers who've been paged at 3 AM one too many times. We believe the best monitoring tools come from people who depend on them daily.
Former backend engineer with a decade of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale. Started Media Luna after realising that every monitoring tool was either too complex, too expensive, or too slow to notify you about the things that actually matter. Passionate about reliability engineering, developer experience, and building products people genuinely enjoy using.
